Thomas P. Jenkins Jr

Thomas P. Jenkins Jr, 54, of Kahoka, Missouri, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Barnes Jewish Hospital.

Thomas was born on September 29, 1971, at Sikeston, Missouri to Thomas and Betty (Hampton) Jenkins Sr. Thomas graduated from East Prairie High School in 1989. He was united in marriage to Corey Lyon on May 4, 2018, at Kahoka, MO, and she survives.

Thomas lived in Southern Missouri and received his paramedic training there in 1993. He then later moved to Kahoka and worked for the Clark County Ambulance as a paramedic he appreciated the friendships he made while working there. Thomas was very much into technology and loved a good challenge. He enjoyed reading Science Fiction and writing in his journal daily. His 5 pugs put a smile on his face Binny, Peanut, Wednesday, Friday and Pugsley.

Thomas is survived by his wife, his daughter Sky (Logan) Malone of Kahoka, MO, his stepdaughters Shelby Cordray of Memphis, MO, Alexis (Chase) Harl of Keokuk, IA, a brother Todd (Ashli) Jenkins of Sikeston, MO, a niece Madyson, his step grandchildren Hank and Tucker Maher, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws.

According to his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life for Thomas Jenkins will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, (Time is still to be determined) at Steves Event Center in Kahoka, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Clark County Ambulance and may be mailed or left at Wilson & McKinnon Funeral Home.
