Elizebeth "Beth" Belinda Hopkins

Elizebeth “Beth” Belinda (Huston) Hopkins, 66, of Kahoka, Missouri, passed away at her home on, Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

She was born on June 19, 1960, in Keokuk, Iowa to John W and Icy Cathern (Dean) Huston. Beth spent most of her life in Clark County and was raised on the family farm along with her six siblings. In 1978 she was a graduate of Clark County High School. She was united in marriage to Gail Hopkins on April 19, 2003, and he preceded her in death September 24, 2020. Beth liked to keep busy; she worked at Kahoka Meat Processing since 2005 she appreciated her job, co-workers, and the many friendships she made over the years, in addition to the locker she also worked for Shelton fireworks.

Beth had a green thumb she could grow a beautiful garden and green plants. She enjoyed Karaoke and dancing. She looked forward to going to Hayden’s donkey sort in Farmington, spending time with Renleigh “Punka Butt” and making her famous goulash. She loved attending any events that her children and grandchildren were involved in. To relax Beth loved her Pepsi in a mason jar.

Beth is survived by her daughter Mary (Michael) Salyers of Keokuk, IA, a son Wade Huston of Kahoka, MO, her grandchildren Hayden Wade Huston, Jordan (Haylee) Salyers, Morgan (Kody) Salyers, Lizzie (Taylor) Salyers, Trenton Drouillard, her great granddaughter Renleigh Salyers and looking forward to a great grandson in November, her brothers Terry (Lisa) Huston of Kahoka, MO, David (Kris) Huston of Kahoka, MO, her sisters Nora (Gerald Ewart) Martin, of Kahoka, MO, Vickie (Doug) Matlick of Keokuk, IA, brother and sisters-in-law John (Pam) Hopkins, Kent Hopkins, Paul (Amy) Hopkins, Mary (Troy) Kirchner, Rita Hopkins, Annie Hopkins, Judy Thompson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her in-laws George and Loraine Hopkins, a sister Patty Londrie and a brother John Huston Jr.

Funeral Services for Elizebeth “Beth” Hopkins will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday August 18, 2026, at Wilson & McKinnon Funeral Home, Kahoka, MO. Pastor Kim McNamar will officiate. Burial will follow at Kahoka Cemetery, Kahoka, Missouri. Visitation with family present will be held at the Wilson & McKinnon Funeral Home, Monday August 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
